df21698ea7 Fix relative AU window sizing
Rosetta bridge plugins have an initial size of 0x0 pixel.
Ardour's AU window size is set relative to the previous size. So the
window grows by the actual real initial size of the AU View.
However the window is already allocated and has a non-zero width given
by the plugin's toolbar.

This lead to oversize windows.

Fix crash when adding events to disabled MIDI event-lane
In case of MIDI CC/Bend/Pressure etc events, the underlying
data is provided by a MidiTrack (is-a Automatable) and not
an automation-control.

When directly calling AutomationControl::set_automation_state,
the AC disables automation-watch using shared_from_this().
With the Evoral::Control used for MidiTrack event-lists this
results in a tr1::bad_weak_ptr.

85f640c31a ripple: prevent session/punch/loop markers moving during ripple-all
Locations::ripple() skips these markers when the ripple action is committed.

...but the editor moves the marker-items as a visual aid, before actually
  committing the changes to Locations()

...so the editor needs the same logic, to avoid visually inconsistent behavior

The Monitor Model usually depends on the studio setup (hardware
mixing desk), but also to some extent on the audio interface (zero-

(e.g. with a laptop), it makes sense to expose the monitor model
preference in the engine-dialog.

NB. It is not part of the engine-state (!), but still a preference.

Slightly improve rendering of muted regions
A fully transparent waveform (with only a semi-transparent outline)

Perhaps this was a typo and the initially intended rendering was
supposed to be 31% transparent, however this is not distinguishable

Fix ruler/canvas separator
The track-header (gtk) is packed with 1px box spacing. This
is added at the top of each box (best seen by looking at the
group-tab vs track-header alignment in the editor).

However the actual track separator line on the canvas is at the
bottom of each track, aligning with the top of the next track
or automation-lane.

The first track however lacks a separator at the top, which
needs to be provided by the ruler. Once the canvas is scrolled
this ruler/canvas separator overlaps with the bottom separator of
each TAV.

Using ruler Rectangle::set_outline had various issues.
The outline extends outside the rectangle. It bled into the
video-timeline instead of the canvas' top y-axis pixel.

Also the separator was above the video-timeline, not above the
canvas. Hence a dedicated separator Line is preferable.
It also provides a consistent separator if no rulers are visible.

Fix displaying note events across tempo-changes
Note position in samples must be calculated using absolute position
on the timeline. Otherwise the tempo-map is not applied correctly.

Previously this caused issues since the position was first
offset back by _region->position() - time relative to region left
edge - and then the tempo-map was applied.

Another solution identically would be:
(note_start + session_source_start).samples() - _region->position().samples()

UIConfig insert-at-position saves/restores the enum as integer.
This is used directly as parameter for insert_at_combo.set_active().
For this to work, the enum needs to match the order of elements

It would be preferable to register the enum, and map the
dropdown entries, but for now this does the trick, without
breaking existing UIConfigs.

Reduce mixer redraws, and fix scrolling to newly added tracks
PresentationInfo::Change (Properties::selected) is emitted and
handled before Mixer_UI::add_routes() is called. At that point
in time the MixerStrip(s) to be selected may not exist.
Visual selection state was lost.

Furthermore move_stripable_into_view() calling translate_coordinates()
only works after GTK has completed the resize operation.
This lead to the mixer scrolling back to the left edge when creating
new tracks.

Also each selection change caused all tracks to be re-packed.
Now redisplay_track_list() is only called if visibility or order
changes. This signficanly improves performance with large sessions.

Fix edit-note dialog length calculation
The AudioClock uses samples. Duration calculation is
done using the current clock pos. The returned distance is
using Beats, can be directly used for all notes regardless of their
position.

Now that this works correctly the dialog can also be made available
for multiple-selection.

LuaDialog: only hide border if scrollbar is n/a 2022-06-03 01:52:02 +02:00

Hide the border of the Lua dialog scrollbar frame
This results in much cleaner look/feel, which was apparently the
motivation for 817fccb3e5.

Update scroll-window policy of Lua dialog windows
Better version of 817fccb3e5, the visibility should not depend
on the number of items in the dialog, but its requested height
vs screen height.

The main use-case is to not show the scroll-bar if the dialog has only
a few rows. Then again if the scrollbar is visible, the dialog
should not shrink below a reasonable min. height.

b806ccf373 timestretching: fix inaccuracies in generated length
The design ignored the ratio computed by the drag interaction, and relied on getting the stretch
ratio from the dialog. This truncated the actual ratio, leading to (relatively) small errors
in the length of the generated region.

Now, if the ratio provided by the drag is not (1/1) (i.e. a single click while in timefx mode)
then the percentage stretch spinner is marked insensitive and the stretch ratio is taken from
the given ratio. For single clicks, the user can still adjust the percentage as they wish

0eb8b6aa85 freesound: cosmetic tweaks
Disable the "More" button when search parameters change. The button is
supposed to continue the current search, but if any of the search
parameters (tags, sort, or licence) have changed, that doesn't really
make sense. Just disable it if the user changes any of them.

Make sure that filenames in the freesound results list are escaped
properly for the tooltip, and append the full licence URL returned to the
tooltip too.

Make the filename column Gtk::TREE_VIEW_COLUMN_FIXED, so that it doesn't
expand to the width of the longest filename in the results and push the
columns to the right out of view. Resizing the import dialogue larger
still allows longer file names to be seen, and it's still possible to
manually resize the filename column as well.

Only show the hours & minutes in the duration column if they're non-zero,
and justify them right.
