Route::set_meter_point() is now conceptually RT safe, although it still takes a write lock on the processor list. this allows it to be called when setting rec-enable status on a route. not thoroughly tested, and still incomplete - single route rec-enables should probably use this pathway, and there is still no cross-thread cleanup from an RT route op request

Move some (most) playlist-related code and data into a separate object
...
(SessionPlaylists). Main point being to ensure that, when a Session
is destroyed (especially as a result of its constructor throwing an
exception) SessionPlaylists::track is disconnected from its signal
at the same time as the list of playlists is destroyed. Otherwise
problems abound.

Give Processor::run a new parameter to say whether or not the run method must leave

the passed-in buffers valid. In the case where the main outs delivery is the last
processor in a route, this is not necessary (and wasteful). If another processor
(e.g. a meter) follows the main outs, the passed-in (scratch) buffers must be valid
or the meter will get garbage data.
Fixes meters displaying phantom signals in some cases.

Use shared_ptr::unique() instead of shared_ptr::use_count() == 1.
...
use_count() can be slow (not constant time) depending on underlying implementation.
Similar situation to std::list::size() == 0 an std::list::empty(), the former
does a big traversal/computation only to check if the very first step went.
I think the current boost implementation is just a reference count anyway, but
hey. In theory.

Fix various MIDI control and installation issues:

* Install ardour3_ui_default.conf to system config dir
* Set -DDATA_DIR etc. defines to proper absolute paths
* Set default MIDI control port name to "control"
(it was "control" some places, "default" other, so the generic MIDI
control surface didn't work. The real problem here is probably that
the name is hardcoded in the surface code, ick)
* Install surfaces to correct system directory
* Generate and install ardour_system.rc
User POV:
* Installed versions not run from the source directory discover configuration
files and surfaces, and generally work
* Building and/or starting a fresh copy of ardour3 with no pre-existing
configuration will run an ardour with a single MIDI "control" port, which
you can plug a surface into and control MMC and controllers and such
(after turning on the generic MIDI surface, which IMO should be loaded
by default anyway, especially since it's no longer in a menu)

LOADING 2.X SESSIONS WITH THIS COMMIT IN PLACE WILL (PROBABLY) CORRUPT THE .ardour FILE,
MAKING THE SESSION UNLOADABLE ON 2.X AND LOSING INFORMATION.
So don't do that unless you make a backup of the session file first.

(full commit): fix MIDI playback by not writing into the playback buffer from MidiDiskStream::process() unless recording. This has a negative impact on "monitoring" MIDI, but that needs a different, somewhat more expansive solution anyway

do not allow smf_source's reads to stomp on cached read_end position in parent class, which creates chaos by being out of sync with MidiSource::_model_iterator. this doesn't totally fix MIDI playback, but it helps

When a track is in "stacked" mode, allow regions to be moved to different layers by dragging

and dropping. In stacked mode, the relayering by "recently added / moved etc. is higher" setting
is ignored, and regions are put on the layer that they are dropped to, unless:
1. they are dropped so that they overlap another region on the same layer, in which case they
are put on the layer above that one.
2. they are dropped such that they could be put on a lower layer with no audible difference, in
which case they are put on the lower layer.

Freeze the audio playlist after completing the set_state on the parent playlist (rather than before) so that the playlist state gets flushed before we start creating crossfades. Otherwise in some cases expected RegionViews won't exist for crossfades when they are created.

Some improvements to performance with crossfades: don't recompute a whole track's crossfade curves

when one region is moved and the display is overlaid; use a std::map for an AudioStreamView's crossfades
list so that add_crossfade can find whether a CrossfadeView already exists without looking through
the whole list.

Make waveform show / scale / shape a global option in the prefs dialog to clean things up a bit. Options to make exceptions for individual tracks could be re-added, if people want them.
