Remove confuzzling offset_relative stuff from region construction (pre-properties "hangover").
...
This commit (in theory) only reorganizes code, not change actual functionality.
RegionFactory now uses a distinct Region constructor for each case, which is a bit easier to wrap around.
Note comment at region.cc:276, this case seems pretty weird to me (more hangover?).

make position+width stereo panning actually functional, although its behaviour is not quite right yet. you can control this from MIDI with a binding map that connects messages to "/route/panwidth B1" and "/route/pandirection B1"

more or less complete restoration of Controllable::_id from XML, with all that implies for MIDI bindings continuing to work across session reloads, and also that the controlled parameter is now set from Controllable::set_value() during session loading, not directly from its "own" XML value; still some funny stuff going on with Panners. This may have broken 2.X session loading in that panners may not be setup correctly

(Hopefully) clarify operator= and copy construction behaviour of the Property hierarchy. Also make operator= copy the value but NOT the property ID; this stops e.g. a = b giving a the property ID of b and confusing things. Fixes some problems with save/restore of region sync position.

A few fixes to interpolation of MIDI controller data. Don't interpolate

when writing these data back to a source, otherwise surprising new
interpolated points appear in MIDI automation. Similarly don't interpolate
when reading the model during MIDI stretch. Fix handling of interpolation state;
controllers that have been set by the user to use a different interpolation style
are noted in the <Source> tag of the session file and this state is sprayed around
to MidiModel and the GUI as necessary.

midway snapshot of work done on managing Region & Source lifetimes correctly. may fix missing MIDI file bug ; save empty playlists because they may be referred to by the history file ; undo commands auto-delete when objects they refer to die (currently not commands built from XML deserialization); Sources now know how many regions are using them for something, meaning that we know if we can delete the files holding any data for the source

Remove muting behaviour from the Amp processor. Fix some small

bugs with delivery muting. The upshot being that muting now definitely
happens in a channel's deliveries, and not really in the channel strip
at all. When the channel is muted, those deliveries described by
the MuteMaster settings are muted. Should fix #3141 .

similar fix for punch recording as applied to 2.X, with additional tweak that when we fetch the audio port buffer, we must use the full nframes() for the current ::roll() call and not rec_nframes. otherwise, we get back an AudioBuffer that thinks it is smaller than it really is. there may be other issues with this distinction lurking somewhere

Allow cross-thread request invalidators to cope with multiple requests

being logged before they are handled, and to invalidate them all rather
than just the last one. Fixes shutdown problems when the PortMatrix has
been opened during the session, during which PortRegisteredOrUnregistered
is emitted quite heavily.

put the issue of using a monitor section into ~/.config/ardour.rc, not the session file. probably not totally right yet. provide startup dialog choice page to let first time users make the decision when first trying ardour (needs rewording)
